Summer Membership Meeting / Sporting Clays Shoot and Competition — 8/16/25
EVENT DETAILS: The summer meeting of the Chapter will commence at the Farm at 3:00 pm with the annual Sporting Clays club championship. Trophies will be awarded for the best individual and team scores for 100 targets. Archery competition will also be available along with fishing in the Farm’s lakes. Finally, dinner will include the roasting of a pig provided by Nick Simon which will be served on the premises at 6:00. A business meeting and program will follow dinner. The cost of the dinner and the cost of the clay targets (but not the ammo) will be covered by the Chapter! RSVP to Sherry Maddox at sherrymaddox52757@gmail.com or text to 502-235-0918.
KYSCI White Tail Warmup — 9/27/25
EVENT DETAILS: The Kentuckiana SCI White Tail Sight In will happen again at the Fern Creek Sportsmen’s Club at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday September 27, 2025. Bring your most accurate deer rifles and compete for the club championship at 100 yards and 200 yards. Trophies will be awarded. Directions and rules can be found here.

I’m thrilled to welcome you to our brand-new interactive newsletter — a fresh start as we work to get back to our award-winning ways! We’ve heard your feedback and are committed to meeting the high expectations of our members by delivering updates and stories in a more dynamic, engaging format.
We also have an exciting lineup of events ahead (see below for more details). Join us on August 16th for our Summer Membership Meeting and Sporting Clays Shoot at the Farm — a great day of friendly competition, archery, fishing, and a pig roast dinner.
On September 27th, don’t miss the KYSCI White Tail Warmup at Fern Creek Sportsmen’s Club — the perfect chance to tune up your rifles before deer season and connect with fellow members.
