Florence Farm hosts bi-weekly Sporting Clays Shoots during Spring/Summer Months, a Limited Number of Upland Bird Hunts during the Fall/Winter. This will be the inaugural Pheasant Tower Shoot and is being offered to KYSCI at a discounted rate as “Soft Opening”. Every step has been taken to insure an enjoyable shooting experience. The goal is to identify and refine, ultimately making Florence Farm Tower Shoots the best offered in the area.
Requirements
• Liability Waiver
• Minimum Age 16 years of age/Guardian supervision required
• KY Hunting or Shooting Preserve License
• Hunter Safety Card if Applicable
• Hunter Orange, Minimum 1 piece of clothing visible from all directions
• No Shot Larger than #6
• Eye & Ear Protection
• No Alcohol Consumption prior, during or after shooting on premises

Check-In — 8:00am-9:00am
Breakfast — 8:00am-9:00am
Safety Talk — 9:00am
Load Up — 9:15am
Field/Positions — 9:30am
Shooting Begins — 10:00am
Last Bird — 12:30pm
Lunch — 12:30pm
Birds Cleaned — 1:30pm

KYSCI White Tail Warmup
EVENT DETAILS: The Kentuckiana SCI White Tail Sight In will happen again at the Fern Creek Sportsmen’s Club at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday September 27, 2025. Bring your most accurate deer rifles and compete for the club championship at 100 yards and 200 yards. Trophies will be awarded. Directions and rules can be found here.

Summer Membership Meeting / Sporting Clays Shoot and Competition
EVENT DETAILS: The summer meeting of the Chapter will commence at the Farm at 3:00 pm with the annual Sporting Clays club championship. Trophies will be awarded for the best individual and team scores for 100 targets. Archery competition will also be available along with fishing in the Farm’s lakes. Finally, dinner will include the roasting of a pig provided by Nick Simon which will be served on the premises at 6:00. A business meeting and program will follow dinner.
